Metem’s facilities have earned recognition for meeting the world’s highest certification standards, as part of the company’s rigorous, ongoing commitment to quality.
For Metem’s plants in Parsippany, New Jersey and Allentown, Pennsylvania, these certifications include:
  • ISO 9001:2008, the most used and well-known standard for quality management systems in the world.  The independent, international foundation DNV (Det Norske Veritas) issued the certification.
  • AS9100:2009, the standardized quality management system for the aerospace industry formulated by the Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE) and the European Association of Aerospace Industries.
  • SAE Aerospace Standard AS7003 for X-ray Non-Destructive Testing through certification by Nadcap (formerly NADCAP, the National Aerospace and Defence Contractors Accreditation Program).
Metem's plant in Szazhalombatta, Hungary, 15 miles southwest of Budapest, similarly meets high global standards, including the following certifications:
  • EN ISO 9001:2008 for quality management systems.
  • DIN EN ISO 14001:2009 for environmental management.
  • BS OHSAS 18001, for health and safety management systems.
